The collection includes 18th and 19th century business papers, deeds, grants, court papers, receipts for notes, accounts, and tax records of various people and places, but chiefly of Andrew Gibson and J. Gibson, and a few political campaign speeches, circa early 19th century, presumably from Guilford County.
